Originally released in 1994, Nightdives System Shock is a remake of the classic shooter in which you fight your way through an army of mutants and cyborgs to thwart the plans of a rogue AI named Shodan who threatens Earth. You must explore Citadel Station to save humanity. This remake offers a number of improvements to the original experience, including improved graphics, updated controls, new sounds and music, a new user interface and more.
While 15 story-related achievements are secret, the rest of the list requires us to experience pretty much everything Citadel Station has to offer, including numerous collectibles. Several achievements are associated with killing enemies in different ways, such as killing with an “Overhead Monitor” – yes, go for it! While most achievements appear to be mixed or cumulative, you’ll also need to complete System Shock on its “hardest difficulties” if you want to reap the full 1,000G, which could potentially be a tricky task.

While the System Shock achievements might be quite time-consuming, Nightdive’s new Star Wars: Dark Forces Remastered should be pretty quick to complete.
